CatView searches plain text files for lines containing keywordsspecified by the user. Keywords are typed using an interface. CatView is handy for text files that are catalogs or flat-file databases (one line represents a record), in which case CatView acts as a catalog viewer/searcher. There are many useful features to accompany basic searching such as: saving, appending and printing results and a multiple search-and-replace facility. CatView is configurable and represents a complete yet simple catalog-file search and results gathering solution.
