DSKWASTE measures the waste of hard disk space that results from the allocation of space to files in units of clusters. It can be used to measure the wasted space for a complete drive (partition) or for any directory or subdirectory (or even for an individual file). The waste computations are based upon all the files that are actually present in any selected drive or directory, and can be performed for the actual cluster size or for any other cluster size. The DSKWASTE v2.2 results are valid for FAT16 or FAT32 hard disks and partitions. Special requirements: MSDOS v5 or later. dskwas22.zip has replaced dskwas21.zip. Freeware. Uploaded by the author.
