Data Logging application using a PC Serial Port with a VIOM data I/O Module. The application can control 16 outputs and can monitor the 16 inputs. Changes to the inputs can be logged to screen and / or directly to disk for background recording. All logging includes a date and time stamp. Logging inputs and outputs can be assigned descriptors which are used for both the onscreen LED-like display and as part of the logged data. Logging can be controlled so that only specific events are logged such as when going active or when going inactive. All logged data is recorded as comma delimited file which can be imported into other applications for analysis.
